Today in our culture, today in our time, we have been falling asleep to the glorious return of Jesus Christ. And even the apostles in the New Testament were heeding us even today through their writings, through the scriptures, to stay sober, to stay awake to the truth that Christ is returning. In the gospels, Jesus, the Messiah himself, was telling his people to wake up from their spiritual drowsiness. In the Old Testament, the prophets and writers were reminding the Israelites to wake up from their spiritual slumber. Our culture has fallen asleep to the fact that Jesus is coming back. Awaken is going to open your eyes to the promise of Christ's Return. And we've been talking about it for quite some time now over the past few weeks. Listen, I know that we at Friends of Israel stand with MP Lantsman and the Canadians who deserve an apology from their prime minister.Ĭhris Katulka: Okay, so maybe you've heard about our latest Look Up Virtual Conference we've been talking about it. And his only response to this Jewish woman is that she's associating herself with people who love swastikas. She believes Trudeau is overstepping by invoking the Emergencies Act to stop trucker blockade in the Ottawa protests. Trudeau's immature response was directed to Conservative MP, Melissa Lantsman, who is Jewish herself and the descendant of Holocaust survivors. The Conservative Party demanded an apology for Trudeau's incendiary comments.Ĭhris Katulka: Steve, it's atrocious. After his comments, the House of Commons erupted in shouts. Steve Conover: But first in the news, Canada's Parliament lost order among its members after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau replied to a member of Parliament by accusing members of the Conservative Party for "standing with people who wave swastikas". So it's going to be a very enlightening episode, and I hope an informative episode on how our listeners can get involved in our Look Up Virtual Conference, Awaken.
